The GSK Privileged access service is changing from a bespoke tool to CyberArk and SailPoint and the services we are providing on these tools are new. We have created a number of new positions in the organisation to support the delivery of these new services

The Privileged Access Service Manager is one of the new roles created to support the change in the Privileged Access Management service for enhancing the controls and management of Privileged Access across the GSK environment

The Privileged Access Service Manager will assist with ensuring that GSK effectively and securely manages Privileged access to its applications and servers through the identification and implementation of enhancements to the service. This a key role for working across the service and across GSK teams to identify improvements based on security best practices, service escalations, and team identified challenges within the underlying processes of the service.

  • Assist with defining, implementing and maintaining privileged access management policies, procedures, and other technical documentation for the Privileged Access Service
  • Develop training materials for Privileged Access systems and general security awareness and deliver Privileged access system training
  • Work with developers, system/network administrators, and other colleagues to ensure secure design, development, and implementation of solutions for the Privileged Access Service
  • Lead the escalation of privileged access incidents with the Security Incident Response Team
  • Lead and provide support for service escalations, troubleshooting issues and implementing resolutions
  • Provide support as required for compliance audits and assessments both internal and external
  • Assist and support IAM teams to identify, design and implement process improvements and automation to improve effectiveness and efficiencies for the Identity and Access Management services as a whole
  • Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Privileged Account Management or Identity Access Management
  • Experience with CyberArk or other privilege password management tools and products
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Understanding of Database authentication methods and techniques
  • Highly self-motivated, directed, and can work independently without supervision
  • Desire to learn and grow with existing IAM team
